A simple cafe-like environment that mimics local Xinjiang eateries in China. Clean and spacious. Food tastes authentic but tuned to Malaysian taste buds. Portions are good. Parking is problematic - be prepared to pay between RM7-10 for a spot unless you are super lucky to get roadside parking.

I came from Morocco to visit Malaysia. Feeling nostalgic for my visits to Xinjiang and Qinghai, I wanted to rediscover the culinary flavors of my past travels. So, I went to eat at Meshrep China Xinjiang Muslim Cuisine and ordered a Laghman and a meat samsa. Having visited Xinjiang 2 times, I can assure you that this is the first time abroad I've found the authentic and true flavor of Laghman that I enjoyed in Turpan and Urumqi. The samsa also had the authentic taste of Xinjiang. This restaurant is a wonderful discovery that I recommend to all lovers of Uyghur and Hui cuisine. Thank you to the sister who invited me to come back the next day to share the Ramadan meal, unfortunately, it was my last day of travel in Malaysia. Congratulations for the delicious food and your kindness.

XinJiang Muslim Cuisine – 新疆来•麦西来甫茶餐厅 (Kuala Lumpur) A truly outstanding dining experience that brings the heart and soul of Xinjiang cuisine to Kuala Lumpur. The food here is authentic, rich in flavor, and beautifully prepared, showcasing traditional recipes that are both delicious and deeply satisfying. Every dish is tasteful, aromatic, and clearly made with care and pride in their heritage. What truly elevates this restaurant is the exceptional customer service. The lady boss is incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming, making every guest feel like family. Her thoughtful gesture of offering authentic local Xinjiang raisins to the kids is a beautiful touch that reflects genuine hospitality and kindness. From the quality of the food to the heartfelt service, this restaurant delivers excellence on every level. If you are looking for real Xinjiang Muslim cuisine with authentic flavors and sincere hospitality, this is a must-visit spot in Kuala Lumpur. Highly recommended — 100% will return. Thank you for such a memorable dining experience.

The restaurant has a courtyard setting with a clean, exotic ambiance, perfect for taking photos. It's very close to Pa-Williams; you can walk there. I highly recommend their barbecue, especially the red willow skewers. The lamb is authentic and fresh. The other barbecue items are also delicious; you can order according to your preferences. The braised pork noodles, large chunks of grilled meat, baked buns, hand-pulled rice, yogurt (with apricot jam), grilled gluten, and beef shank skewers are all generously portioned and flavorful. The cumin flavor was soothing after the meal.

Came here for 2nd round of dinner and tried some of their dishes. The shop lot looks like being invited to a friend’s house and cozy. It serves more than just mee tarik so be sure to try out their dishes. I especially love their sour ish chicken feet . Parking would have to either be in front (limited space) or at the open car park lot nearby.

The food, esp. the grills are great. Try the Kavas, it is good with wheaty taste but not alcoholic. The noodle is also aldente. However, the service was subpar. There's only one baby chair. Plus, it seems all of them are afraid to speak in English. It was a shame for such good food.

The reviews for this restaurant are quite mixed - some people really enjoy the food, while others don’t. As someone who was born and raised in Xinjiang, I was puzzled at first. After dining here several times, I began to understand why opinions vary. Of course, I haven’t tried everything on the menu, but here are a few dishes I did sample: 1. Fried Pearl Noodles (丁丁炒面) – This is a must-try dish. It’s flavorful, authentic, and easily my favourite - I could eat it every day - an absolute 5-star! 2. Lamb skewers and hand-pulled noodles – Both are fine and worth trying. 3. Meatball soup (丸子汤) – Unfortunately, this was very disappointing. The quality of the meatballs was very poor. I could possibly leave only one star for this particular dish. I’ve tried a few other dishes as well, but the fried pearl noodles stand out as the best. In short, the mixed reviews may come down to which dishes people happen to order. If you had a disappointing meal here, it might just have been an unlucky choice - so I’d recommend giving them another chance. If this channel has been regularly monitored by the owner, please ask your customers if they like their orders and improve the quality accordingly. All the best!
